The Result + Winner mode differs from Predicto Standard in one key way: you don't have to pick a betting variant for every match. You always predict the same thing — the exact score.
Picks before the tournament starts
Regardless of the scoring mode, before the tournament kicks off you also make two additional picks: the tournament winner and the top scorer. These picks stand until the end of the competition and are scored separately from individual match points.
How does it work?
You enter a result for both teams, e.g. 2:1. Based on that, the system automatically works out who you predicted as the winner — you don't need to do it separately. A correct exact score is worth 12 pts.
This removes the "winner or score" dilemma that comes with the Standard mode. Here you always play for the higher stake — the exact score.
Partial credit
This is the key difference from Predicto Standard: if you don't hit the exact score but correctly pick the winner (or the draw), you still get 5 pts as partial credit. In Standard, the same situation (you went for the exact score, only got the side right) would give you 0 points — here you always come away with something for picking the right direction.
Draw bonus
If your pick is a draw after 90 minutes (e.g. 1:1), you get an extra question — about who wins the tie overall. You have to pick who wins extra time, or, if that's also a draw, who wins the penalty shootout.
Getting this extra pick right gives you a bonus point, regardless of whether you nailed the main match result.
Who is this mode for?
If you like the simplicity of Predicto Standard but want to always play for the higher stake (exact score) without making a decision every round, this mode is for you. It also works well in rooms where you want to reward players who think analytically about specific results, not just about who wins.
