Three goals in 31 minutes — PSG in full flow
The Parc des Princes was ready to welcome the Champions League back and received a performance worthy of the defending champions. PSG dominated from the first minute — 68% possession, 32 shots across the match, zero yellow cards. Slovan Bratislava, making their league phase debut, arrived with humility and received a masterclass in top-level European football.
In the 17th minute Ferran Torres opened the scoring from a Vitinha assist. In the 23rd, Dembele — relentless on the right wing — slipped the ball to Akliouche, who tapped in for 2:0. In the 31st minute Vitinha completed a slick passing move with Fabian Ruiz — 3:0 before half-time, the match effectively over.
The festival continues after the break
PSG did not ease off after the interval. Just two minutes into the second half, Torres struck again to make it 4:0. In the 57th minute Doué added the fifth. Slovan scored a consolation goal through Sporar in the 59th minute, but it was little more than a footnote. In the 88th minute substitute Godts completed the rout at 6:1.
PSG finished with 12 shots on target — Safonov in goal was barely called into action. Slovan managed 6 shots, 4 of them on target. The lineup featured Hakimi, Zabarnyi, Pacho and Nuno Mendes in defence. The defending champions roll into the new season like a steamroller. Next up in the league phase (13 October): Villarreal at the Parc des Princes.
