Group B4 table after two rounds
The standings in Group B4 of Nations League B after two matchdays: Sweden lead with a perfect six points and a 5:2 goal difference. Bosnia and Herzegovina are second with four points (4:2). Poland are third with one point and a 1:3 record. Romania are bottom with zero points and a dismal 3:6 goal difference.
Sweden — group favourites beyond any doubt
With Gyokeres, Isak and Nygren in the squad, Sweden are clearly the strongest side in the group. Gyokeres (Arsenal) and Isak (Newcastle) are two of the most dangerous strikers in the Premier League. Poland experienced that at first hand in Solna — the 1:3 scoreline says everything. Sweden also have scores to settle with Poland — it was a defeat to the Swedes that knocked the White Eagles out of the World Cup 2026 qualifying play-offs.
The Romania match — six points on the line
On 2 October at 8:45 PM, Poland host Romania at the PGE Narodowy. This is a six-pointer — Poland need the win to stay in touch with the top of the group and avoid a relegation battle. Romania are bottom without a point, but they have dangerous players — Birligea, Stanciu, Olaru. Gheorghe Hagi has returned as head coach and will be desperate for a result in Warsaw.
Can Poland still go up?
In theory, yes — four matches remain. But to think about promotion to League A, Poland must beat Romania and Bosnia while Sweden slip up. It is a difficult scenario, but not impossible. Staying in League B is the priority.
